We’re excited to announce that Volunteers for Youth Justice (VYJ) is the very first organization to receive funding for iMentor Interactive via the OJJDP mentoring grant program.
VYJ is based in Shreveport, Louisiana and provides programs for abused, neglected, and at-risk children in the northwestern part of that state. Specifically, they’ll be using iMentor Interactive to provide e-mentoring for young adults who’ve been involved with the juvenile justice system.
Congratulations to VYJ! And if you’re considering applying for this opportunity, remember that funding decisions are being made on a rolling basis, so please submit your application as soon as it’s ready.
